MORTGAGE ADVISORY GROUP DONATES TO LOCAL FOOD BANKS

Everett, Wash. – Mortgage Advisory Group applauds the efforts of their dedicated employee volunteers who have offered their commitments this year to Volunteers of America Western Washington, Hope Link, and Serve Wenatchee Valley. Over 100 employees joined in giving food, money and their time to make the holidays a little brighter for families in their community.

“As a team, we know it is important to help local organizations, so that our communities can be a better place to live and work” says President Tony Blodgett.

7,083 pounds of food were collected and donated to the Volunteers of America Western Washington, which is the largest human service agency in Snohomish County and also serves 8 counties in Western Washington. Mortgage Advisory Group Team members also assisted in sorting over 14,000 lbs of food so that Volunteers of America can continue to provide services to the community.

1,902 pounds of food were donated to Serve Wenatchee Valley which helps network those in need with appropriate resources in Wenatchee.

In Bellevue, 2,990 pounds of food were donated to Hopelink on behalf of the Bellevue branch. Hopelink offers an integrated array of programs that enable families in crisis to make progress toward and achieve self-sufficiency.
